Hollywood Studios Day 1 November 2021

After taking the weekend off, we began Monday morning with an exceptionally fun filled day at Hollywood Studios.  It was one of my favorite days of the whole trip. This park was probably the most crowded of all.  It has several popular attractions that really draw in the crowds.  We began the day at rope drop and stayed until the park closed.  Here is a look at our day-

Arriving at the park hoping to be in the front of the rope drop line.

Ready to scan and go!!

We headed straight to Sunset Boulevard.

We walked right on to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

Oh so fun!

Next up, Tower of Terror.

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is the cutest ride!! I was eager to experience it and it greatly exceeded my expectations.

Love!!

Our family at Hollywood Studios back in 2017.

We had ridden Toy Story Mania! when we visited Hollywood Studios back in 2017, but the rest of Toy Story Land was under construction. This was one new part of Disney I could not wait to see.  I loved it but thought it was extremely overcrowded and compact.  We rode the rides and then got out of that part of the park.

In line for Toy Story Mania!

We were all looking forward to Slinky Dog Dash.  It was fun!

We then spent the rest of the day in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  This area was also not open back in 2017 so it was new to us.  I am not a big Star Wars fan but thought this area was the coolest of all.  David and the boys had been watching all of the Star Wars movies in order since we arrived in the States.  We checked them out at the local library.  They were especially excited about seeing this part of Disney.

First, we rode Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Do you think they were excited??

Next, we got in line for Rise of the Resistance.  The wait was around 1.5 hours but it was totally worth it.  It was one of my favorite rides in all of Disney.

In line to ride Star Tours.

Near park closing time, the wait lines dropped.  We were able to ride Rise of the Resistance again and then walked onto Smugglers Run another time.  That was exciting.

We took our time leaving the park and enjoyed getting to walk around with just a slim crowd.  The lights were pretty at night.

It was another long day but we felt like we accomplished a lot. Next up, Epcot.
