4th of July 2024

It was especially exciting to get to be home this year to celebrate the 4th of July.  We started the day with a family cookout.   We enjoyed a huge spread of foods for our lunch meal.

That afternoon we were back out at the Sojourner's lake to swim.

That evening we enjoying watching the celebration fireworks show put on by the Springs of Praise church.  It is an annual event and always spectacular.

A Day at the Lake with Friends

The boys had several sleepovers with the Sojourner family during our trip home to Mississippi.  These boys love each other and always have a fun time together.  Here are some photos of them tubing and swimming on one of those summer days together.

These two were born on the same day and have a strong bond with each other.

 

We are thankful for sweet friendships in the U.S. and for opportunities to spend time together.
