Disney 2017 (Hollywood Studios)

We did not purchase park hopper tickets on this trip.  We bought four day passes and dedicated one day for each park.  It was our first time to take the boys and we wanted to spend as much time as possible in each park each day.  We haven't regretted that decision and I think it worked out good.  Here is a look at how we spent our time at Hollywood Studios.

arriving at the park that morning
I took the boy's Stormtrooper costumes for them to wear.  Hollywood Studios has a lot of Star Wars stuff so it was fun for them to get in on the theme.

The Christmas tree at Echo Lake.

We got there early to get in line (we did that every day at every park).  At this park we wanted to be among the first in line to sign up for the Jedi Training.  They offer several time slots for each day but only take a limited number of kids per slot.  You have to get there early to sign up because the slots go fast.  We were able to sign up for the first slot.  The kids were excited.  Their parents were too.

While we waited for the training to start I tried to take a photo of the boys.  This was their first pose.

then this

and then finally a smile.

They looked up and almost squealed when they saw real Stormtroopers marching their way.

Meeting the Stormtroopers.

That was very exciting.

It was a very fun experience for them and I'm glad they got to do it.

David and the boys

After the Jedi Training we ran over to catch the March of the First Order.  That was cool to watch.

ready to ride Star Tours
We all enjoyed the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.  After the show we stayed around for the boys to meet the two stars.

We headed over to Pixar Place to get in line to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody.

This was how Cruz felt about the estimated 45 minute wait.

It was worth it.  We love these two characters!

another fun memory

Me and Cruz riding Toy Story Mania.  It was such a cute ride.

The boys got new sunglasses at the Star Wars store.

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away show

Ben was not tall enough for Rockin' Roller Coaster but Cruz wanted to ride it so I took him.  While he and I rode it David took Ben to see the Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage show.

Us on the ride.  It was SO fast and fun!  Cruz is still talking about it.

The only other attraction we did that day was the Voyage of the Little Mermaid.  I thought it was so cute.  We also grabbed pizza at PizzeRizzo.

We took a few memory maker photos before leaving the park.

Getting to see Disney at Christmas was so special.  It was so beautiful and will be a holiday memory that I will never forget.

We had now covered all four parks and I still can't say which one I liked the most.  Each park was different and unique.  They all had things that I really loved.  I am glad that we got to experience each of them.  I would definitely go back and do them all over again.

We still had one more day left on our trip and it was one of my favorites.  We had brunch at Chef Mickey's and later attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.  What a great way to end our time there!  I'll share about both of those later this week.
