We had closed out Epcot earlier in the week but were looking forward to returning for a full day of exploring.
Arriving early at the park.
Ready to enter and wait for the rope drop.
We headed straight to Test Track. The boys love it. I lost count of how many times we rode it during the trip. It was numerous times.
I think what they like most of all is designing their cars.
Ready to roll!
This was a new ride for us.
The Epcot Christmas tree.
We rode the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico.
We spent the morning doing a scavenger hunt around World Showcase. We were at Disney with a group called Traveling Homeschoolers. Our group got discounted tickets under Disney's educational program but in order to get them you had to complete one educational activity during your trip. It varies every year and is normally more of a small group activity. This year is was slimmed down due to COVID. Instead, we completed the activity on our own through an app. It was fun and we definitely learned about the countries in the process. Here are the boys and I in China looking for clues.
Using the virtual queue I was able to get a 12:30 boarding group for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. This is a new ride that had just recently opened. It is such a cute ride! We all loved it.
waiting in line
More exploring in World Showcase. On our last visit to Epcot in 2017 we did not even walk through the countries. I was excited to see them this trip. It was a highlight. Even the boys thought it was cool to see all the different areas.
This was a fun ride.
We love Soarin'.
Living with the Land.
me and my boys having a blast at Epcot
Hello Mickey!
Our family in 2021
We love Epcot!
Epcot is even more beautiful at night. We enjoyed another leisure stroll through World Showcase to see it all lit up and decorated for Christmas.
Seeing it at night was a highlight of the trip.
We took a ride on the Skyliner.
We then came back and got a nice spot for viewing the evening show. While waiting for it to begin, Ben fell asleep. Poor thing! This shows how we were all feeling.
Epcot's nighttime show, Harmonious, was my favorite thing at Disney. It is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The combination of the fountains, the fireworks, and reflection on the water make for a spectacular show. It really is a must see.
This view was another favorite. The changing colors was gorgeous! I could have stared at it for hours on end. Epcot is stunning at night.
One last photo before we left. I was sad to go. Just like all of our other days, this one had been amazing from start to end. Disney really is a magical place to visit.
Next up, a split day at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
