After attending the Ole Miss vs Citadel football game earlier this month in Oxford, we made plans to attend the 2025 Egg Bowl. The Egg Bowl is the annual rival game between Ole Miss and Mississippi State. This year it was played in Starkville. I was excited for the boys to see a game at the MSU stadium and to hear those cowbells ringing. Overall, it was a super fun day and the Rebels won. I'd say it was most definitely worth it and a memory we will not soon forget.

Gulf Shores, AL Fall Break November 2025
Because the boys take a few live online classes, we only get school breaks on Thanksgiving week, Christmas, and Easter week. It's hard to go from August to late November without a break!! When you factor in school, our busy speaking schedules, and just daily life activities, we were way overdue for some time off. We knew we wanted to go out of town for a few days and had talked for months about where we could go. We ended up visiting the beach in Alabama. We had wonderful sunny weather and a fantastic time. It was just what we needed!
It had been eight years since our last trip there. You can read about that trip HERE. The boys would have been five and seven. Time with them is passing quickly!
We stopped at Buc-ee's on the drive down. That's a destination in itself.
Ben and I love beaver nuggets and shared this bag on our trip.

We loved lazy days just sitting on the beach, going for walks, splashing in the water, and playing in the sand.
There was a man on vacation there that built sandcastles every day. He was very talented! We enjoyed taking photos of his work when he was done.
