About

Welcome to our blog!

We are the Whites- David, Regina, Cruz, and Ben.  We are a missionary family serving in Guatemala since 2006.  We have been married for 28 years and we have two sons who are 12 and 14 (yes, we got started a little late in life).

Our blog is about our daily life, our ministry, our homeschool adventures, and the family moments that we have together.  Our days are not always easy, but I try hard to make them fun.

    1. I am a part of the same group as Barbara, and we found your story in the WMU Mosaic magazine. We learned about how you have to juggle so many responsibilities and the needs of your family, as well. We appreciate that you and your husband are willing to spread the gospel to the people of Guatemala through your ministry. We are praying for your family, your health and safety, and your work. God bless you!

  2. I learned about your family through the WMU Mosaic magazine this month, I taught preschool TCK's at ILC from 2005-2009 so I especially enjoying seeing how M families do ministry as a team and include their kids in the work. I'll look forward to keeping up with (and praying for) you through your blog!!

  3. Hello from Springfield, Illinois. We have a White family right here in our church! It was fun to read about your family and the work you are doing. They (the White family) have many friends and are faithful workers in our church. We could be related. One of our other church members and WMU members is actually from Tennessee. We are praying for the homeschooling that Regina is doing. We have members in our church that also homeschool. We also are praying for rain for the bean harvest, but not too much rain.

  4. Hello from Springfield, Illinois. We have a White family in our church who are very mission minded. Another family in our WOM group was from Tennessee so we were drawn to your story. We are praying for you as you minister to the Chorti people and homeschool Ben and Cruz. Some of our church members also homeschool and know some of the joys and challenges you face. We are also asking for rain (not too much) for the people to have a good bean harvest. God bless you.

  7. Greetings from Texas, we just finished VBS and learned about your family and how you are witnessing to the Guatemala families. I Have family that lives on Lake Atilan and was just there visiting them in May. I wish I would have know that y’all were are missionaries and maybe could have met you. Guatemala is such a beautiful country and such a great place to live. May God continue to bless you and we will continue to keep your family in our prayers.

  10. I watched your story through the 2022 VBS and my team is doing the missions part. Would you be able to share with us what you put in your food bags?

  11. God bless you Mr. White! I also watched your story through the 2022 VBS and I am working the missions part, here all the way from Puerto Rico! I had the privilege to visit Perú as a missionary, and the experience was incredible. I am currently working on teaching your story with cartoons! If its possible, I would like to know where you lived before going to Guatemala in 2006. Thank You! God Bless you always!
