We began our last day at Rocky Mountain National Park walking the Alluvial Fan Trail and climbing all over the Horseshoe Falls area.
off we go
It was the sunniest day we had there, yet our coldest feeling day of the trip. The winds were blowing very hard and made it feel quite chilly.
Climbing over rocks to get to the waterfall.
Horseshoe Falls
Seeing it from the bottom was not enough for my guys. We had to climb all the way to the top.

After spending most of the morning climbing, we hiked back down and finished the trail.
Before leaving they climbed to the top of this rock. If you look close you'll see David and Ben.

We loved spotting wildlife!
One of my favorite views!
We returned to the YMCA in time for a late lunch and saw more wildlife roaming the grounds there.
That afternoon Cruz and I went to downtown Estes Park and enjoyed walking around and visiting all the shops. It is such a cute downtown area.
Later that afternoon we made one last visit to the Bear Lake area. That will be my next post I share.
