After spending the morning at Horseshoe Falls and the afternoon in downtown Estes Park, we ended our time at Rocky Mountain National Park back at the Bear Lake area. We had not officially walked the loop that goes around the lake so we went back to do that. I think I just mostly wanted to make the drive back to that area one more time. I really loved it! And, to make it a perfect ending, it started snowing on the drive there and snowed during our walk around the lake. We could not have asked for a better ending to our time at that incredibly amazing park!

Part of the trail was still covered in snow. We were all excited to get to walk through the snow one more time.
This park certainly made its way into our hearts. We loved everything about it! Our time there was very special. It is most definitely a national park that we would hope to visit again someday. There's still so much of it left for us to explore. It is by far one of the top on my list of favorites.

We left this area the next morning and drove a little over six hours to the city of Montrose, CO to visit the next national park on our list. I'll share photos of that scenic drive next.
