Christmas Eve is a late night event here in Guatemala. We did not get to bed until around 1:00 a.m. on Christmas morning. Despite that, our boys were still up early and excited about the day.

This year the boys wanted more experiences rather than gifts. In addition to a few things they got to open on Christmas morning, they got to go biking, bowling, rent scooters at the mall, a visit to Sky Zone, and a day at a go-cart park.
For breakfast we had homemade cinnamon rolls.
Our lunch meal consisted of baked ham, macaroni and cheese, carrot souffle, English peas, deviled eggs, and rolls.
Overall it was a simple, quiet day at home. We ate, watched movies, and rested. We ended the day with leftovers and reading the Christmas story.
