Magic Kingdom Day 1 November 2021

We had a magical day at Magic Kingdom.  It is hard to choose a favorite park, but Magic Kingdom is most definitely at the top of my list.  It is just a fun, happy place to be.  We rode many rides that day and several we rode more than once.  We began the day there and then took the monorail over to Epcot to close out the day.  We were about 14 hours total in the parks.  We did a lot of walking but made more memories than I can count.  Here is a look at our first day at Magic Kingdom.  We returned there again on the last day of our trip.

We arrived via monorail and took a few photos before entering the park.

Let the celebration begin...

We took more photos once inside the park.

When the rope dropped we headed to Tomorrowland.  We first stopped at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

We rode Space Mountain back to back.

One of my favorite photos from the trip.

Cruz loves the Tomorrowland Speedway.   Here they are ready to drive.

Here they are when we visited Magic Kingdom back in January 2020.

And ready to ride back in November 2017.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a favorite.

I talked my guys into riding The Little Mermaid.  I loved it!!  Them, not so much.

Dole Whip twist is our favorite treat!

The theming of this ride reminded us of the national parks we visited earlier in the year.

Other rides and attractions we enjoyed that day include Swiss Family Treehouse, Mickey's PhilharMagic, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (such a cute ride!), Astro Orbitor, People Mover, Carousel of Progress, and Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor.

We ate supper at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe and then rode Space Mountain over and over until the fireworks started.

We only stayed for a little of the fireworks.  We had plans to watch them when we returned to the park on our last day.  Instead, we left early and took the monorail to Epcot.   We had two hours to spend there until it closed.

We watched the fireworks while waiting to board the monorail.

Arriving at Epcot.

We ran straight to Test Track.

We love this ride!
I lost count of how many times in all we rode it during our trip.

We ended the night watching the nighttime show there at Epcot- Harmonious.  I was most looking forward to it.  It did not disappoint.  It is fabulous and definitely my favorite nighttime show of all! It is a must see if you visit Epcot.

breathtakingly beautiful

A few Christmas shots before we left.

The lights are supposed to look like little Mickeys.

This was a Friday night and we were taking the weekend off to rest.  After the long day of travel and two open and close park days, we needed it.   I will share how we spent that time next.
