Walking Around Sprague Lake at RMNP

After hiking to Alberta Falls, we made a stop to walk the loop around Sprague Lake. The loop is short and flat and has wonderful views of the Continental Divide. It is only 0.7 miles round trip.  It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon and perfect weather to make this stroll.

As soon as we hit the trail we saw a moose in the lake.  We had been wanting to see a moose on this trip and it was our first opportunity.

Just before the trail ended I saw this mama and her babies.  It was a sweet sight.

This was an easy, relaxing walk and the views were fabulous!
