While our Summer Sojourners were in the Antigua area we spent a morning making home visits with Pastor Apolinario in San Andres Itzapa. It is a big part of what we do and we wanted them to get a little glimpse of it.
off to pray, encourage, and share the Gospel
We walked to many homes. It was good for them to see how the locals live. At each visit several shared scriptures, gave their testimonies, shared words of encouragement, and even sang a few times.

Praying for this man and his family.
We also visited with a blind man who needed encouragement. We visited the home of an elderly church member who was dying. We prayed for him and his family and tried our best to encourage them. Sadly, he died three days later. Additionally, we prayed with many others who were sick. All of our visits were great opportunities to share and the students did a fantastic job of being bold in doing that.
