My birthday is February 25. It most always falls either right before, during, or after the annual Intermissions Conference. This year it was on Saturday of the weekend conference. Because of that we started our celebration a little early.
On Thursday afternoon we had birthday cake and coffee.
On Thursday evening we celebrated by going out to eat Italian in town and then returning home for more cake.
On my actual birthday morning I woke up to find decorations on our hotel room door. They were put there by our dear friends the Jarvis family. I also received a homemade card from David and the boys and a gift.

What I especially love about my birthday being during the conference is that I do not have to cook, plan any meals, or clean. Our meals there are buffet so I can pick and choose exactly what I want. This was breakfast.
Shortly after finishing breakfast, the wait staff surprisingly came out to sing to me and brought me a slice of lemon cheesecake. This was another surprise from the Jarvis family.
My day was filled with conference activities.We had a morning and evening worship service along with break out sessions in between. We sang some of my most favorite hymns during the services and it blessed my soul. We had a little free time in the afternoon and I did just what I needed and wanted most. I took a nap.
That evening after supper the wait staff joyfully came around again and sang. We were seated at the table with the Stones and they had lined it up. This time they brought me tres leches cake.
It was a fun, relaxing day. I was surrounded by mission family and missionary friends who made me feel very loved and special. I am blessed!
