After dropping Lauren off at the airport, we made a stop by Miraflores Mall in Guatemala City for some pre-Christmas fun. It is a tradition for our family to visit this mall sometime during the Christmas season because I love how beautifully decorated it always is. It definitely puts you in the holiday spirit.
Every year we take a photo in front of this tree.

Another Christmas tradition we started a few years ago while visiting this mall was for the boys to rent scooters. They have a beautiful outdoor space to ride them. You can almost forget that you are at a bustling mall in a busy city while sitting outside in this area. We love it!
Another Christmas tradition we have is going bowling. This year we tried a new bowling alley, 1890 Bowling, that had just opened in the mall earlier in the year. It was very nice. Our family loves to bowl.
Below are a few videos I took-
This one and rest of the videos were taken by Cruz. For years I have enjoyed being the one behind the camera. Now Cruz is developing a love for taking photos and videos. Here are a few moments he caught on camera. He definitely caught more of our silly side that I don't usually get.
We ate lunch at the food court before we left. This was our beautiful volcano view from our table.

I had a pulled pork waffle that included macaroni and cheese.
Cruz's sandwich
and of course, no outing would be complete without donuts.
We made a stop by PriceSmart to pick up a few supplies before we left the city. This was December 23 so we were returning home to have a quiet little Christmas together at home.
