January 2022 Newsletter

Happy New Year! We had a delightful time celebrating Christmas and ringing in the new year with family and friends.  It was wonderful to be home this year to spend time together.

Sharing
We concluded our Stateside Assignment speaking engagements in December.  In all, we shared seven times last month to promote the IMB, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, our work in Guatemala, and how churches can get more involved in missions.

It has been a joy to be in so many different churches over the past several months. It is one of our favorite parts of our job and a highlight of our time in the States.

It was delightful to see so many of you in person while we have been home.  We are thankful for each church that has hosted us and given us the opportunity to share.  We have enjoyed each and every one.

Travel
Our flights have been booked for us to return to Guatemala.  If all goes as planned, we will be flying out very early on Saturday morning, January 8.  Here are some ways you can be praying for us in the days ahead.
  • Pray for our packing.  It can be a little stressful to get everything sorted into bags, weighed, and ready to fly.
  • Pray for a negative COVID test result so that we can travel.
  • Pray for a smooth travel day on Saturday and that all of our luggage would arrive on time.
  • Pray for our unpacking and getting settled back in. It can be just as stressful to unpack and get everything put away.
  • Pray that we would get readjusted quickly and easily to life and ministry there.

Giving
Thank you for giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering!  Every dollar given goes directly to support IMB missionaries around the world. It is not too late to give.  You can donate through your local Southern Baptist church or online at: LMCO
.

Your Role
Every person can have a part in missions.  You can
  • Pray
  • Give
  • Go
  • Send
Find your place and get involved.

You can visit www.imb.org for resources and more information.

Together
As we return to begin our fifth term of service, we go encouraged knowing that we have so many like you who will be alongside us in prayer.  Prayer is vital in all we do.  Thank you for standing in the gap for us!
