December 2021 Newsletter

Greetings from Mississippi!  We will not be saying that for too much longer.  Our time in the U.S. is quickly coming to an end.  We have just a little over a month before our planned return to Guatemala in early January.  We look forward to spending the holidays with family but will then be busy getting packed up and ready to fly out.  Pray that this last month will be as stress free as possible.  We currently do not have a travel day assigned but will update that in our next newsletter. Our last weeks look to be some of our busiest.  With Lottie Moon season upon us, we have a full speaking schedule lined up.  Pray for us as we will be sharing six times over the next two weeks.

LOTTIE MOON TIME Every day, 155,473 people around the world die without knowing Jesus. Each year churches give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering to advance the kingdom of God through missions. 100% of every dollar given goes directly to the foreign mission field to support missionaries and their ministry. Are you and your church interested in short-term missions or partnering with field missionaries? Missions College is a hands-on training event just for you. Don't miss the opportunity to learn firsthand from IMB missionaries about engaging the lost cross-culturally.  Experience four days of interaction with missionaries and experience deep learning about how you can share the gospel, make disciples, and plant churches.  You will have many opportunities to ask questions, share experiences, and pray about next steps for you and your church.  For the first time, the conference will be offered twice in two separate locations in 2022. The first opportunity will be in Richmond, VA at the ILC on January 4-7, and the second will be at First Baptist Church, Russellville, Arkansas on Feb 28-March 2.  The registration deadline is coming up soon. We could not close out the year without taking a little time to say Thank You for your faithful prayers, encouragement, and support over this past year.  You are a vital part of our ministry and we are honored to have you alongside us.
