Having their first evening meal at Pizza Burger Diner in Chiquimula. Miguel got to join them some during the week.
playing games with some school kids
The school kids opening their gift bags to see what was inside. The ladies on the team were teachers so this year on the school visits they focused on literacy and passed out Spanish readers to every child. They also gave out school supplies and resources to the teachers. The kids squealed with joy to each receive their very own book. It is always good when you can get kids excited about reading.
Tammy and her husband David have been down two years in a row. We love getting to serve with them.

a home visit
This is Luz, the pastor's wife in Nearar. They recently had a baby boy. They have four girls so finally having a boy was very exciting for them. We are so thrilled for this sweet little addition to their family.
The team returned to Guatemala City on a Thursday and the boys and I were able to join them for the night at our mission house. We, sadly, did not get to go out with them during the week so having a little time together at the end of the week was great.
We hosted them in Antigua on Friday and enjoyed showing them around. They had an overnight flight back home so David dropped them off at the airport later that night. We are glad that they chose to come down again and look forward to having them back in future.
