Shortly after arriving my family gave them a combined party at a local Mexican restaurant. Everyone gave the boys birthday cards with money so they could go shopping and get some things they wanted.

That is something we do not get in Guatemala so it was a special treat.

After eating, the staff came out and sang to them. That is always so much fun.

Later that week we had another party with Cruz's buddy Jett. They are such sweet friends. They were born on the same day and their mom put together a fun collage of some pictures we have taken of them over the years. They chose a Lego Movie 2 themed party. We gathered at the Sojourner lake for a cookout and a fun afternoon of swimming. Everyone had a blast!

Sweet friends that I wish did not live so far apart.

Lastly, on Memorial Day, we gathered with David's family for a cookout and a little fun in the sun. His family rented this slide for them to enjoy for the day. They literally played on it from about 9:00 that morning until 6:00ish that evening. They only stopped long enough to grab a bite to eat or go to the bathroom. They definitely enjoyed this gift!

They had so much fun and will definitely remember their birthdays this year. I am thankful for the memories they got to make with family and friends.
