Back in January Ben started taking soccer lessons. He goes two days a week, but would probably go every day if it was offered. He loves it! It has been fun watching him practice every week and make friends on his team.
The school year here in Guatemala is January through October. Most all of the afternoon classes that are offered here go by that schedule. We do the U.S. school schedule which means our summer break is soon beginning. Because of that Ben will miss soccer all of May. He will most likely miss all of June and some of July too because of our travels and summer schedule. He is a little bummed about that but it will give him something to look forward to when we start back to school in late July or early August.
Each week his coaches do a great job of taking pictures of the players and sharing them with us. Here are some highlights of Ben over the past few months.
