Halloween 2018

We began our morning with a pancake breakfast.  I made banana pancakes and used chocolate icing to make the spider web decoration.  The boys loved the spider theme!

We spent the morning doing school and when we finished I surprised them with a goodie bag of snacks, candy, and tokens for the mall arcade.

We had lunch at our mall food court.  Both boys chose a McDonald's Happy Meal to eat.

After eating they were eager to spend their tokens.  When they finished playing we cashed in their tickets for a few more prizes.

Later that afternoon we took a Fall family photo.

David then took the boys for a swim at the hotel next door.  We are going to miss having access to a pool when we move, and getting to swim year round.  That has been so much fun for the boys, and a great way for them to burn off energy.

When they returned home they put on one of their costumes and went down to our neighbors house to play with their friend Mateo.  His mother took them all trick or treating around our subdivision and also to the hotel and restaurant next door.

When they were done they came to our house for supper and a movie. It is our tradition to watch It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown every year on Halloween.

I had found these cute spider cup cake holders and I baked chocolate cupcakes for our evening dessert.

In addition to the cupcakes we had pizza, popcorn, and these orange jello cups.

It was such a fun day from start to finish.
