On Tuesday night we had an early surprise birthday party for David's mom. Her birthday is in early November, but his sister decided to do her an early party so that we could be there to help celebrate. It turned out to be a pretty fun night. We all gathered at Robin's house and Memaw came a little later.

Our meal was Italian themed and delicious! We had spaghetti, lasagna, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, pizza, salad, and bread. We also had a little grilled deer meat to go with it. It was all very yummy.

After our meal we sang "Happy Birthday" and ate cake and ice cream. Ms. Linda's cake had a 6 and 7 candle on it. She will actually only turn 66 this year. It was the joke of the night. We just said that it really was an EARLY birthday party, haha.

The kids had fun playing together. They spent a lot of time out on the deck with glow sticks and birthday horns. They were rowdy, but had a good time!
We miss being able to be a part of things like birthday parties throughout the year. It was good to get to celebrate together while we were home.
