On Sunday, October 24 we had much to celebrate. First of all, it was our 15 year service anniversary with the IMB. It represents the day we arrived in Virginia and became employees of the mission board. It also represents the day we began our time of training for the mission field. That training lasted several weeks and then we flew out. We did not officially arrive in Guatemala until the end of December.
We love celebrating this day. It is always a special day for us to reflect on and thank God for His faithfulness to us over years.
Much has changed in the past fifteen years including the addition of two little ministry helpers.
Another thing we celebrated that day was the baptism of both boys. They had both accepted Christ while in Guatemala but we wanted them to be baptized at our home church in the States. David got to do the baptisms, which made it extra special. Afterwards, he preached the morning message.

For lunch, David's sister, Robin, had a family meal in her home.
We had a few others come to the service to support the boys, but I failed to get photos with them. We were very thankful for everyone that joined us that day. Each one made the moment extra special.
Pray for our boys as they continue to grow in their walk with Christ and for us as we seek to disciple them. Also, pray that the Lord gives us many more years to serve Him wherever He leads.
