November 2021 Newsletter

Traveling
Happy Fall! We have been quite busy since our last update in early September.  We have spent much time on the road visiting and speaking.  During the months of September and October we were in eleven different churches.  That included Sunday services, Wednesday services, and WMU meetings.  We have greatly enjoyed getting to share about our work in Guatemala and raising prayer support for the next term.  We have traveled through Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, and several parts of Mississippi. Many of you we have seen in person and it has blessed our hearts!
Lottie Moon Resources
With Lottie Moon season approaching, we have a full speaking schedule booked through the end of the year.  We are already excited to hear of some of the goals that the churches have set.  Many are encouraging their congregations to give more this year than in years past.  If you need resources to help promote the offering in your church, they are now available through this link- Lottie Moon Resources.

Thank you, in advance, for giving and supporting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  Of the money given, 100% goes directly to the foreign mission field.
Together
As you consider your upcoming mission trip plans, know that many IMB personnel, including ourselves, plan to host volunteers in 2022.  You can visit www.imb.org/trips to see opportunities around the world where your church could be involved.  If you give to Lottie Moon, go see your dollars at work by partnering with an IMB missionary.  We want to serve you and help your church catch a vision for the nations.

There is a new opportunity next summer for student groups to serve internationally.  GO IMPACT is your youth group's connection to the world.  If your church high school youth group is ready to experience the nations and offer help and hope through the gospel to people around the world, IMB is ready to serve you and your church with packaged short-term missions opportunities. Visit: GO IMPACT to learn more.

We are able to do so much more together, than if we were chasing this vision alone. This is our common effort, together.- IMB

Pray
Every day, 155,473 people enter eternity without the hope of Jesus. Please join us as we observe the Week of Prayer for International Missions November 28- December 5, 2021.  During this time, Southern Baptists pray for IMB missionaries, their ministries, and the unreached people and places they serve.

Would you join us in praying?  Visit: www.imb.org/pray/week-of-prayer for more information.

Milestones
On October 24, we celebrated our 15 year anniversary with the IMB.  We are thankful for the way you have encouraged us over the years and prayed for our family and ministry.  Thank you for faithfully walking alongside us over the years.  We are humbled by your love and support and honored to have you as a prayer partner.  Thank you!  We could not do it without you.
Also on that day, David had the privilege of baptizing both of our boys at our home church in Mississippi.  Pray for them as they continue to grow in their faith and for us as we disciple them.

It was truly a wonderful day for our family.
