October 2009 Newsletter

Greetings from Guatemala! It's the last time for a while that we'll be able to say that! October is here which means that in just a few short weeks we'll be leaving here and returning to the States. We have not yet begun to pack or make any arrangements to leave but plan to get on that real soon! We expect our month to be filled with not only packing but lots of sad goodbyes. We will definitely be needing your prayers. We'll be hosting our supervisor who will be coming up to visit us and the work. We anticipate a great visit with him.

September was a great month around here. We attended two pastor's conferences- in Las Casas and Sayaxche'. We had three birthday parties. We visited 9 villages in the Cahabon area and recently heard that 23 new believers were baptized in that area!! PTL! We attended a revival service in Sayaxche' and saw 3 couples get married and 3 people make professions of faith! We consider it an honor to be called here and to be a part of what God is doing.

We plan to continue to send out our updates while we are in the States. As we leave this chapter of our lives we are looking forward to the future with great anticipation for the wonderful plans we know the Lord has in store for us. We have had an awesome three year term and look forward to many more years of service! Your prayers and support have been so instrumental in making these years what they've been. We can't thank you enough for all you've done to make our term a success. It's been a great experience and we thank you for coming along with us! We'll be seeing many of you soon! Until next time.....

Sending our love,
David & Regina
