The boys spent many hours riding their electric scooters while we were home on vacation in Mississippi this summer. David's hometown of Crystal Springs recently built a walking trail from town to Lake Chautauqua. We spent several afternoons and early evenings on it. It was a great walk from where we were staying at David's grandmother's house. Here is a look at one of those late afternoons.
We stopped by the Dairy Freeze first for snow cones. It is on the way.

Chautauqua Park has been around for many years. I grew up going there as a kid to play. We had annual family reunions there under the pavilion, and always enjoyed attending the Labor Day Festival. David has fond memories there as a kid also. We are glad our boys are making fun memories as well.

Crystal Springs is known as The Tomatopolis of the World. There are several of these decorative tomatoes all over town.

I took a lot more videos than I did photos. Here is a YouTube video I made of our outing. Check it out!
