Volunteers
Thank you for praying for our September team.  We hosted a group of five men from First Baptist Church, Summit, MS.  During their time here they preached, shared testimonies, prayed, and shared the gospel with many. They worked alongside several local Baptist pastors and assisted them in ministering to their communities. They were a hard working group and also a fun group to host.  They brought much joy and laughter to our family and those they encountered.

October Team
Our next team arrives on October 8. We will be hosting a group from First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant, SC.  They will be working in the Chiquimula area doing evangelism and outreach. Pray for us as we finalize plans and for them as they prepare to come.  Pray also for a fruitful week of being on mission together.

The greatest problem facing humankind is not a natural disaster, a humanitarian crisis, or political instability.  The greatest problem in the world is lostness.  The International Mission Board wants to grow a deeper partnership with you in solving this problem by providing missions training.

IMB Missions College is a hands-on training event for pastors, church leaders, mission trip participants, and church members who are currently engaged in missions or who are interested in partnering with IMB teams.  IMB missionaries will be there to help you gain knowledge and practice the skills you will need to effectively engage the lost in cross-cultural settings.  The IMB Missions College program is designed to facilitate interaction and build relationships with IMB missionaries as well as other Southern Baptists who share a passion for missions.

In 2023 there will be two opportunities to attend this training.  The first is January 4-7 at the International Learning Center in Richmond, VA and the second training is February 23-25 at Gateway Seminary in Ontario, CA (Los Angeles Campus).

Registration information for both events can be found at
imb.org/events.  Registration opens October 3.  We would love for you or someone from your church to attend.
The 2021-2022 Lottie Moon Offering has surpassed the $200 million mark, making it the highest total in history!  Thank you for your generosity and support of the IMB!  Because you gave...
Thank you for giving!  Your gifts are helping make Jesus known among the nations.
This month we will celebrate 16 years of service with the IMB. We are very humbled and grateful not only that God called us here to serve but also for the way He has faithfully guided and sustained us over the years.  There have been ups and downs, bumps in the road, and just plain hard days.  In spite of it, He has been with us every step of the way.

We know with certainty that we are where He wants us to be.  There is no greater joy than serving the Lord and being in His will.  Our prayer is that He will allow us many more years to serve Him on the mission field.

We thank God for each of these years of service and also for each of you who have prayed for us over the years.  Your faithful prayers have played a big part in our success on the field.  Thank you for coming alongside us in ministry through prayer.  We covet those prayers in the days ahead as we continue to serve Him here.
