Here they are filling out cards for their co-op friends.
They made boxes for collecting their cards. Cruz made a robot monster and Ben made Luigi.
ready to celebrate Valentine's Day at co-op
That evening when they went to bed I set out some decorations for the next morning.
I had picked them up a few treats while in the States.
For breakfast I made pink heart shaped pancakes.

Ben's Valentine breakfast
We had been hosting two of our IMB leaders all week and needed to get one of them to the airport mid-day to fly back home. After doing a little school work that morning we all drove into Guatemala City together. We made a stop by our mission house there. We then dropped one off at the airport and took the other out to lunch with us.
You could probably guess where I wanted to go eat for Valentine's Day lunch. TGI Friday's!!!
Later that afternoon we visited a local mall and got the boys a haircut. They do not get soda often so you can imagine Ben's joy when the barber gave him a Pepsi and two suckers to enjoy.
We picked up a few supplies, ate supper at the food court, and then drove back home to Antigua.
a family photo to end the day
It was a simple day but a lot of fun. I sure do love my little family.
