We were especially excited to learn recently
that our Summer Sojourner positions have been filled. We have been
assigned two females from Georgia that will be spending six weeks of
their summer working alongside us. We look forward to getting to know
them over the next few months and then hosting them here beginning in
late May. Join us in praying for Madelyn and Victoria as they prepare
to come serve short term in Guatemala.

We ended the month with a work trip to Florida for a team
meeting with our Connections Cluster. This group represents IMB
personnel from Guatemala, Panama, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and
Brazil. It was a great time of brainstorming, planning, and sharing
ideas of how we can better serve the US churches. We have a great team
and each of us are passionate and committed to seeing Southern Baptists
be on mission both locally and internationally. Pray for each of these
families as we not only seek to train US partners but also national
partners to be on mission and share the gospel with their neighbors.

This is the mission of IMB.
As your Southern Baptist missionaries on the field we want to see this
mission carried out. There is a place for you to serve and we want you
to know that we are here to serve alongside you. Whether that be in
Guatemala or somewhere else across the globe, IMB wants to partner with
you. Let us know how we can help your church take the next steps in
missions involvement or visit opportunity finder to see places where your church could serve. Go see your Lottie Moon dollars at work! |
