a team photo before heading out for our first day of ministry
Like our March team from our home church (Harmony Baptist) this team had a family come down to serve together. We love being on mission with other families. Our boys, in particular, loved having the other kids to spend the week with. It was great to see these kids be bold in their sharing of the gospel.
We met a tortilla lady on the street and spent some time sharing with her.
we bought some of her tortillas before we left
the kids even got to try making some
(that was fun)
We visited a local school to invite all of the kids to an afternoon activity at the local Baptist church.

Our second day of home visits in another area. We visited in the morning and did a children's activity in the afternoon. We also had a women's Bible study while the team worked with the kids.

fun week!
On our last day we explored Antigua together. We started at the cross above the city.
Me and Jennifer
This was her second trip just this year alone and I have lost count of how many times she has been down all together. We love her!!!
We visited the Choco Museo (Chocolate Museum) and learned all about how chocolate is made and then got to make some ourselves. That was fun for everyone!
Making chocolate.
My favorite was macadamia nut with sea salt.
Next we visited the jade shop and learned all about jade.
We did not eat at McDonald's but I had to take them in there just to show them how pretty ours is here in Antigua.
shopping in the market for souvenirs
We toured the coffee farm at Finca Filadelfia.
And we enjoyed one last supper meal together at Ta'Cool.
It was a great week! This team did a wonderful job of not only teaching the Bible but also telling their testimonies many times. They poured into the people here and we are thankful for the impact they had on those we met.
We welcomed our next team yesterday (Sunday) and will begin our first day of ministry today. They are another group from South Carolina. Pray for us this week as we share the gospel together.
