Disney 2017 (Magic Kingdom)

For our Magic Kingdom day we went as the seven dwarfs.  There were seven of us in our group and we had all picked a dwarf to be.  I think we matched up pretty good.  I loved the brightly colored shirts.  It was a cute idea and added a lot of fun to our day.

Hi ho, hi ho it's off to Magic Kingdom we go!

A family photo at the park entrance.  Everything at Magic Kingdom was so breathtakingly beautiful.  They had everything decorated for Christmas and I just looked around in awe all day long.  It really was so amazing to see this time of the year.

ready for a fun day at Magic Kingdom

Cinderella's castle

We arrived at the park well over an hour early to get in line.  They let us enter as far as Cinderella's Castle and then had to wait for the park opening time to go any further.  It didn't take long for the crowds to grow.  This is what it looked like behind us with another 30 minutes to go before the park officially opened.

Once the gates opened we raced to be first in line to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.  Cruz and I were some of the first ones on.

What a fun ride that was!

Oh so fun!

We also enjoyed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Before the week was over I think we ended up riding it five times.

We also rode "it's a small world", Walt Disney World Railroad, and the Barnstormer.  We went to see Monster, Inc. Laugh Floor, and Country Bear Jamboree.   The boys snacked on a Mickey Mouse bar and I enjoyed a Dole Whip soft-serve from Aloha Isle.  We ate supper at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

We did several character meet and greets throughout the day.  Of course the main one we wanted to do was Snow White.

In addition to taking pictures the kids all had autograph books for each character to sign.

my favorite character greeting of all was Buzz Lightyear

such a fun experience

you can't go to Magic Kingdom and not see Mickey
(even if you have to wait in line a really long time to do it)

It was a hot day so cooling off at Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station was fun for the boys.

Cinderella's Castle

that evening we spent a little time hanging out at the Cosmic Dance Party in Tomorrowland

dancing and bubbles- a fun combination

We ended the night with tickets to the Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.

We ate until we were almost sick and laughed until our sides were hurting.

We then headed out to a reserved garden area spot to watch the evening fireworks show.  Of course we had to take a few photos in front of the beautifully lit castle before the show started.

David was still being in character, ha

a perfect ending to our day

It was magical!

It was a wonderful day.  We had so much fun and made some of the best memories.  We had walked that park for 14 long hours and we were all more than exhausted by the time we got to bed.  But, if given the chance, I'd relive every minute of it again.  It was amazing!
