Squeezing In All We Can

We had a great weekend filled with family, food, friends, and fun.  We kicked it off on Friday night with a family supper at Georgia Blue in Brookhaven.  We enjoyed a delicious meal as we all visited around the table.  We have only been home one other Friday night since arriving back in the States.  It was nice to have a travel free weekend.

I spent most all of Saturday washing laundry, cleaning house, and working on lesson plans.  That evening our friends the Browns came down to see us.

After supper we took the kids roller skating at a local skating rink.

What a fun night we had!  

On Sunday morning we drove to Crystal Springs and attended worship at our home church Harmony Baptist.  It was good to see so many familiar faces and get a lot of warm hugs.  We were invited to lunch at the Sojourners.  After lunch the kids spent the afternoon swimming and playing in the pool and lake.

They were also hosting a boys Sunday School class at the lake that day so our boys had a lot of kids to play with.

They became instant friends and played together all afternoon.  They were born on the same day and we all loved seeing them enjoy each others friendship.  We saw them again last night and just this morning Cruz has already asked me when can he see Jett again.

It is so nice to be back in the States for a while.  We are enjoying every minute of it.
