Greetings from Mississippi!
We are now a little over a month into our Stateside Assignment. These
past few weeks have been very busy. After arriving in the States we had
just a few days at home to get settled in before our traveling began.
We did our first speaking engagement at Sumterville Baptist Church in
Alabama before flying to Virginia for a week of debriefing with the
IMB. The day after returning from that trip we drove down to the Gulf
Coast for a week of vacation with David's family at Orange Beach, AL.
We had another few days to unpack and rest before we loaded the
suitcases again and flew to Mexico for a week long meeting with the
IMB. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and training with our
mission family that serves all over the Americas. We are back at our
mission house now and thankful for a few upcoming weeks of only local
travels.
Our new homeschool year kicked
off this week. Cruz began second grade and Ben began kindergarten. I
will continue to homeschool while we are in the States. Please pray for
another great school year. Pray for me as I prepare and teach them each
day. Pray that I would be filled with the fruits of the Spirit and
that I would model them well before my children each day.
We
are continuing to fill our calendar with speaking engagements. Pray
for us as we travel and share our stories. Pray that we would share
them well. Pray that we would be good missions promoters and that many
would catch a vision to share the gospel around the world.
