On Saturday we made a day trip over to Copan, Honduras. The Parker's had been before, but it was many years ago. They wanted to visit the Chorti Baptist Development Project and learn more about the agriculture work that is being done there.
Once arriving in Copan our first stop was at Cafe Welchez's. We enjoyed some carrot cake, flan, hot chocolate, coffee, and a Maya Frozen. We also met up with Dan Watson there.

If you know Mrs. Jane well then you know she ordered cafe con leche. Hers came with a cute heart decoration.

After our snack we drove out to the Ag Center. Dan gave them an overall tour and explanation of what they do there. Here are some photos of our visit-

We ate lunch at Jim's Pizza before returning home to Guatemala.

We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening just visiting and playing with the kids. It was a fun day!
