Greetings from Guatemala! We just ended a whirlwind vacation trip home to the States. It was a busy time but a great time of being with family and friends. Our kids got a lot of love, attention, and spoiling. We may never get them straightened back out, haha. They had fun though and we had fun with them. We are thankful that we have time each year to take off and just spend it with family. It is a refreshing time and although we return tired, we also return re-energized and ready to get back to the work God has called us to do.
The agricultural training that we are doing with the village of Lagunetas began this past weekend. We were not able to attend the kickoff but plan to be at the other sessions. The days were changed to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. With the exception of Thanksgiving weekend we will be meeting for the next five weekends straight at the training center in Honduras. David will be leading some Bible studies with those attending the training. Please pray for this project we have going on. Pray for David as he prepares and teaches each week. Pray for Dan as he will be assisting with the agricultural training.
We will be having a team meeting this month with our other IMB personnel who work with Indigenous people. It will be a time to share what is going on in each of our works and how we can all plan for the future. Pray for this to be a good time of encouragement and growth for all of us.
We are looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with our IMB mission family in Panajachel. We pray that each of you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving season as well.
