I cannot believe we have a two year old in our home! It seems as though he should still be the size of Ben. I look at Ben and try to remember Cruz at that age and size and it is hard to imagine. He has grown so fast and changed so much. This is his last monthly post I will be doing. I plan to have a book printed of all of his monthly updates, doctors check-ups, and a few other random things. It will be my version of a baby book since I never completed his other one.
WHAT HAS HE BEEN UP TO LATELY?
* He weighs 28.10 pounds
* He is 35 inches long
* He wears size 4 diapers, size 2T clothes, and size 6 shoe
* He loves all things Sesame Street. Cookie Monster and Elmo are his favorites.
* He LOVES horses
* He likes watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Handy Manny
* He loves playing with tools and pretending to build and fix things
* He loves helping his daddy work on projects around the house
* He is FULL of energy from the time his eyes pop open until the time he falls asleep.
* He is usually a good sleeper at night but wakes up early. His normal time is 6:30 a.m. but he can get up much earlier than that on occasions. Most days he naps 1-3 hours in the afternoon. He most always falls asleep in the car.
* He loves watching movies in the car when we travel. That has made our trips be much calmer and quieter.
* He loves being outdoors and plays very hard all day. He rarely sits still for any length of time.
* He loves playing in water whether that be in the bathtub, a swimming pool, or a rubbermaid tub filled with water in our yard. He just loves water.
* He loves balls- throwing and kicking them.
* He loves books, puzzles, colors, markers, paints, glue, playdoh, and making crafts. He is very artsy.* He loves to climb- everything! He also loves to explore and investigate- everything! He requires constant supervision because he is constantly getting into something or doing something he should not be doing.
* He also requires constant stimulation. He is very active and gets bored very easily. Keeping him busy and entertained is a daily challenge.
* He likes to pull a chair up to the counter and help me cook.
* He loves to help me take care of his brother.
* He loves to play with a broom and sweep the floors.
* He loves to dust using a wet wipe. He will go all over the house cleaning things.
* He is good about picking up his toys and cleaning behind himself. He likes things neat and orderly.
He is head-strong, independent, a people person, determined, self confident, and full of life. Although he can completely exhaust us and send us over the edge most days, we love him just the way he is and look forward to seeing the person he becomes. We are so thankful that he is our son and that we get to be his parents!
Happy 2nd Birthday, Cruz!
You are loved beyond measure!
