This week we are working our way towards Antigua, Guatemala to attend a mission meeting with our sending organization. If we drove straight there it would take us about ten hours. Instead we are making a few pit stops along the way. Our first stop was in Coban. Our former supervisor, Jim McGriff, and his wife, Carol, are in town preparing to crate their things back to the States. They are retiring after twenty-nine years of missionary service. We had a quick overnight visit with them and enjoyed dinner together at Casa de Acuna. We hope to see them one more time before they leave for good.

Before leaving town we met our friends Galen and Phyllis Groff for breakfast at McDonald's. It has been a while since we saw them and we enjoyed catching up in person.

Our next stop was Guatemala City where we will spend a few days getting medical check-ups, having our teeth cleaned, buying some much needed supplies, and eating all those foods we sit around Sayaxche' dreaming about, haha. We have seen a few more friends since getting in to town and are really enjoying all of the fellowship we have had so far.
