Thanksgiving Day 2010

We started our morning off by sleeping in.  For the first time in weeks Cruz slept through the night again.  He slept from 8:00 p.m. until 6:30 a.m.  He ate and then went back to sleep until almost 10:00.  YEAH!  What a blessing that was to all of us.  David and I enjoyed a big breakfast and got to also enjoy drinking coffee before he got up.  Here are a few photos I took before lunch-

We were invited to the King's house to eat.  They live here in Sayaxche and we were recently introduced to them.  They are a fun family.  The Dinsmore's also joined us.

We had a great meal.  We ate turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn casserole, sweet potato casserole, jello salad, green salad, rolls, and these yummy desserts-

After eating we watched a little football and played some cards.  It was a fun day!

We'll spend the evening playing with this little guy.  From the look on his face I'd say he's had a great first Thanksgiving.
