Travel to the States

Our travel day started very early!  First of all let me say that I have bragged about what a great sleeper Cruz is.  WELL, the night before we flew home he was up all night.  We put him down at his normal 8:00 time.  He woke up around 8:30 and was wide awake.  It was after 10:00 before he went back to sleep.  He then slept until 2:00 and was up again.  It was as if he just got back to sleep when the alarm went off at 4:00.  UGH!  We caught our taxi at 4:45 and headed to the airport.  We were all tired!
I took a photo of our plane because it was Cruz's first plane to travel on.

Despite the fact that he had been up most of the night he traveled WELL!  He was in a great mood, he laughed, and interacted with everyone that paid him attention.  You would never know he was tired.
He enjoyed watching t.v. on the flight
Everyone kept saying all day what a sweet baby he was and what a good traveler he was.  It made these parents very happy to hear that!
His first time in the good ol' USA

This was on the flight from Houston to Jackson.  He slept all the way.

This was us walking out.  Click HERE to see photos of us walking out this time last year.  What an exciting day that was!
It was our first time to travel as parents and we would say it was a success.

David's mom and niece met us there.  This is David's mom with Cruz.

My friend Malinda and Sara Madalin also met us there and brought us a sweet bag of goodies.  She always knows our favorite stuff.

From there we traveled to Crystal Springs to have dinner with David's family.

  1. What are those two kids looking at? Obviously, their mamas don't take enough pictures of them. You'd think they don't know to look AT the camera and CHEESE real big. Ha. Can't wait to see y'all again.
