Cruz turns 4 months old today!
What a bundle of joy he is!
What has he been up to lately?
* He is so much fun these days! He laughs, plays, and entertains us daily.
* He is wearing 3-6 month clothes
* He is in a size 2 diaper
* He wears a size 2 shoe
* He has his check-up later this week and we'll find out his weight then.
* He must be teething! He drools all day long, and constantly sucks on his hands. We can't keep his hands
out of his mouth.
* He is learning to play on his own some. We can give him a toy and he will entertain himself for a while.
* He makes the funniest/ loudest noises. At times he is almost screaming but he's just playing. He will talk
and babble to himself all day.
* He loves for his Daddy to make the howler monkey sound for him. It just makes him laugh out loud.
* His eyes are a blue/ gray color
* This past month his hair finally fell out. He has one strip along the back of his neck left. It looks funny.
Right now it is hard to tell if it is coming back in blond or brown.
* He has not quite mastered rolling over but is working hard on it. I don't think it will be much longer.
* He travels well! We made several road trips this past month and he did well on all of them.
* He still sleeps well too. He goes to bed around 8 and on a good night will sleep until 6/ 6:30. This
doesn't happen every night, but most nights. He takes a morning and afternoon nap usually 1-2 hours
each and then a cat nap around 6 before he gets his bath and dinner.
* He has started playing with his toes and loves to pull on them. No toes in the mouth yet though.
until we find a rental house in Sayaxche'.
* He is very ticklish. We love making him laugh. I play the "here comes the spider" game with him often.
* He can sit up with assistance. He prefers to sit up vs. laying down. He likes to see what all is going on
around him. He likes to be held upright as well. If you hold him sideways he thinks you are trying to put
him to sleep and he doesn't like that.
* He still gets the hiccups often. He gets them more now when he laughs a lot.
* He is a snuggle bug! We love to hold him and squeeze him. He is also a great nap partner. :-)
He is a very sweet baby! We couldn't have asked for an easier, more content baby than him. He is a true blessing and he fits our lives so well. How did we make it so long without him???
Cruz, you are loved more than words can say. We have enjoyed every minute of the last four months with you. You have brought so much joy to our lives and you make them so much sweeter. We are so happy to have you as our son.
Look how much he's grown and changed-
They grow so fast. It sounds and looks like Cruz is a very happy baby. I know you are anxous to return back to the states to see family and show Cruz off.
ReplyDeleteI will be sure to mention to the New Providence R/As to keep you in there prayers. I know they will be interested to know of all the rain you are having in Guatemala, as we are going through a dry spell in Copiah Co. God Bless, Ellis
