After all these years, who would have ever thought that I would be celebrating Mother's Day??? What a special day it was for me just to reflect on the gift that God has given us and to look forward (even more) to meeting him in person.
As excited as I am to hold him in my arms, I am trying to treasure these last few weeks/ days of holding him in my belly. What a joy this pregnancy has been for us! I received flowers from not only David, but also from my friend Penny (a fellow missionary). We spent Saturday afternoon with her and her husband doing some mentoring and she gave me an early Mother's Day gift.
On Sunday morning we attended a local church and then went out to eat.
We chose a place we have never been to before but pass it on our way to school everyday. It had a lovely garden and a beautiful volcano view. This is where we ate. We love outdoor eating!
Congrats on your first Mother's Day! What beautiful pictures! Treasure this time.

Regina,
ReplyDeleteYou look great! You deserved a great Mother's Day and I'm so glad that you enjoyed your first. Enjoy your last few days (weeks) of being pregnant.
It's been way too long since I stopped by here to visit! Congratulations! I had no idea you were expecting a new babe. I'll be praying for you in these last weeks of pregnancy and for the birth. How exciting!
