A Night on the Town

Thursday night my friend Malinda and I had a girls night out.  We started off with dinner and then went to express our creativity at Easely Amused.  It is a paining studio where you make canvas paintings.  I thought it would be a fun, relaxing thing to do.  It was fun, but relaxing it was not.  It was way harder than I thought it would be, lol.  But, we still had a great time anyway.

and here's my painting. 

The nights theme was "Mississippi Queen" which was a magnolia, our State flower.  I wanted to paint it to take back to Guatemala and hang in our house.

This was the sample that we were to follow.  I chose a blue background instead of the orange.  Theirs looks much better than mine!

 I didn't think I did too bad for a first timer, but I could definitely use some more practice.
