The carnival part of the fair is taking place at the edge of town. We did not make it over there but I did take a photo as we drove by.
Below are several photos from one of the parades we attended. I LOVE a parade and we have them often here.
This parade had bands,
Queens, (I can't believe they walked in these shoes!!!)
Dancers,
Children,
and a little of everything else.
Here are a few videos of some of the parade-

Oh, I do love a parade! Thanks for sharing these wonderful shots with us and Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from SITS... glad I did... what fun pictures! I'm a leader in Youth Ministry myself... & my husband & I so long to adopt from Guatemala...
ReplyDeletewhat an interesting life you must have!!! Blessings to you & your husband!!!
I was stopping by from SITS, just to show some comment love! I'm so glad I did, what an awesome blog I've found!
ReplyDeleteI also work in missions, though currently, I do so from my home because I have been very ill over the last 2 years. Right now, I help process applicants for medical missions for a very large mission organization. I did, however, participate in a few trips before becoming ill. In fact, I have a photo on my post today of the last trip I was able to participate in. It was a literal life changing experience. I really miss being able to go.
I'm really glad to 'meet you' and I look forward to reading more about your work. May God bless you as you bless others.
Faithfully Serving Him,
Teresa <><
