One of our favorite treats to eat here is a Churro. They are similar to a donut but are long in shape. They are deep fried, rolled in sugar, and filled with either chocolate or caramel sauce. They are soo yummy!!! There are several places to get them in Guatemala City. About a month ago they opened an American Churros store in the food court here in Coban. We were happy to hear that. Tonight after dinner we decided to walk down to our local mall and treat ourselves to one for dessert.
That was the best decision we have made all day. :-)

I always wondered what those things were at the Costco food court...maybe I'll try one next time!
ReplyDeleteYummy! We use to eat them all the time at Costco. We have only seen them a couple of times here, but are hoping they will have them in VZ.
