We drove into the city yesterday afternoon. Our friends, Allen & Laurelle, are here until Thursday. We are enjoying a few days of visiting with them before they return to the States. Last night we all went out to eat at TGI Friday's (no surprise, huh). Laurelle had the bright idea to tell them it was my birthday so they would come sing to me. What she really wanted was for me to have to stand up in my chair and be embarrassed. At Friday's they make the birthday person stand in their chair and twirl around. It's fun for everyone else but torture for the birthday person. Here are some photos from our night:
