Greetings from Guatemala! The month of January was like living in a whirlwind and we can gladly say that we are relieved it blew by. We had two great K'ekchi' Annual Meetings, one in Coban and one in Sayaxche'. We attended a prayer retreat with all the other missionaries serving in Guatemala and it was was a very refreshing time for us. We had some overnight trips with our national K'ekchi' missionary brothers and visited some new areas where there have recently been new believers. That is always exciting! We hosted a prayer/ media team this past week and had a great time of ministering with them. We have been blessed to see God moving among the K'ekchi' this past month. It is exciting to be a part of this work and to see God's hand in it.
We have a few down days ahead of us and we look forward to catching up on our rest.
We are scheduled to visit several churches this month. We pray that these will be encouraging times for the pastors and believers there. Next week we have a three day trip to visit a village almost on the Mexico border with some national missionaries in the Peten. There are around 200 families there and they have requested that someone visit them. Pray that this will be a productive trip and that a new work will begin in that area soon. I will be attending a Ladies Conference in Mexico City on the 19- 23. I am very excited about that! There are about 120 ladies scheduled to attend from all over our region. We have a weekend trip to the Polochic Valley planned the last weekend of the month. We think we will be attending a wedding, a baptismal service, and maybe two worship services while there. We are not sure what to expect but are going with open hearts. Please pray for all of our travels this month.
We appreciate all of your love and support. We are honored to represent you on the mission field. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. We appreciate it and depend on it more than you know! Until next time...........
Sending our love,
David & Regina
