Weekend Plans

We had a great drive into Guatemala City yesterday. Thanks for praying for our travels.

We stopped by our mission office to check our mail. It was the first time since mid-December we have been in the city to check it. We had lots of beautiful Christmas cards in our box, and even though it is mid-January, they still brought lots of smiles to our faces. :) I had subscribed to a new cooking magazine- Simple and Delicious, and received my first issue. That made me really happy.

We went out to eat at our favorite place in Guatemala City last night- TGI Friday's. We had a delicious meal.

We are now getting ready to drive 3 more hours south to the town of Panajachel where we will have a weekend prayer retreat with our mission family. We are looking forward to a lot of prayer and share time with our fellow missionaries as well as lots of great fun and fellowship. Please pray that it will be a relaxing and encouraging time for everyone. We will return to Guatemala City on Sunday and Coban on Monday.
