Today's tasks

We have been pretty busy today running errands and getting everything ready for our next team that arrives tomorrow. We have a few more stops to make and we should be ready to go.

We visited the hospital again today to check on Bro. Miguel and his wife Virginia. She is in a public hospital (San Juan de Dios) in downtown Guatemala City. We didn't know ahead of time but they only allow visitors on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Crazy, huh. They let us in the gate anyway with almost no hesitation. When we got to the maternity ward we could see inside that there were no visitors. We asked for permission to enter and after discussing it for a few minutes, they let us come in for 5 minutes. That was plenty of time to check on Virginia, ask about the baby, and pray for her. She seemed to be in much better spirits today. She said her blood pressure has gone done a lot. The nurses told us the baby was doing good as well. Both are blessings and answers to prayer. Thanks for praying. Please continue to lift them up over the next few days.
