Great is Thy Faithfulness

We attended our home church last night- Harmony Baptist Church. Because we had originally planned to fly home on Wednesday night we had not made any plans to be at a certain church last night. When our flights were changed, it gave us an opportunity to go somewhere and see people. We decided to visit our home church since we are not scheduled to speak there until the 26th. It was great to see everyone. No-one knew we were coming so it was a surprise to all. We enjoyed the Bible Study and prayer time. It was great to worship in English! We only sang one hymn and it was "Great is Thy Faithfulness." I, Regina, could not even sing for crying. I was overwhelmed with feelings of awe to the Lord because he truly has been faithful to us. It was a sweet time for both of us.

After church we went to our favorite restaurant of all- Sonic!! ha We have been wanting to eat there for soo long. We met our friends Reagan and Malinda and their newly adopted baby, Sara Madalin. We have seen tons of photos of her but it was our first time to meet her in person. She is just as cute as we imagined her to be and very sweet. We had a fun time just talking and catching up with them.

One thing we have enjoyed doing since being home is eating. That is the one thing we have wanted to do the most (besides visit and shop). Last night at Sonic I ordered my favorite- chili cheese dog. It was just as good as I had remembered it being. We had planned to split it, but David ended up ordering a cheeseburger so I could have the whole thing. It was yummy!

Today for lunch we had one of David's most missed foods- cheese wontons. We ate at our local Chinese place. It also was good.

Things are going well. We are just trying to get settled in and readjusted to life here. It is different, but not in a bad way. We have enjoyed taking baths, brushing our teeth without bottled water, flushing our toilet paper (this will take a while to get used to), and seeing so many people we have not seen in a while.
