"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." 1 Thes. 5:11 This is our new team photo. It was taken earlier today. Normally every Wednesday at 2:30 our team meets for prayer meeting. We are assigned a different team members name and take turns praying for each other. We also pray for our work which includes upcoming activities, teams, and continuing to pray over the places we have recently been. Since three of our team members just returned and next weeks schedule is pretty full we decided to have a prayer meeting today so that everyone could be in attendance. We met at the McGriff's house and Mrs. Carol served us a delicious cake and Coban coffee. It was good to have everyone together. These prayer meeting times have been real special to us. They have challenged us to grow in our faith and to grow our personal prayer lives. We are thankful to be working with a great group of prayer warriors. They have been wonderful role models for us.
After prayer meeting I cooked dinner for the Parker's and McGriff's. They all came over and we continued our fellowship together. When the McGriff's left, Wendall and Jane stayed around to play a few hands of Phase 10. Since our students left we have been having withdrawals to play. We taught them how and they did pretty good. Mrs. Jane ended up winning. That's pretty good for a first time player. I am sure in the coming months we will be playing quite often.
We only have one week left with the McGriff's before they leave for their year's stateside assignment. Continue to pray for each of us during this transition time.
