He kicked off his birthday weekend with a backyard camp out. They set up the tent on Friday afternoon with plans to sleep out there both Friday and Saturday night. They had a lot of fun!
His actual birthday fell on Sunday. We enjoyed a blueberry pancake breakfast.
We watched church on-line and then enjoyed a delicious lunch. We keep packs of Pappy's BBQ pulled pork in our freezer. We enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches and fries at home.
We enjoyed cake for dessert. This year he requested a strawberry cake.
We spent the afternoon at home playing games. Aggravation is the one we are currently playing a lot.
We also worked a new puzzle.
That evening we drove into town and picked up Wendy's to go for supper. We came home to eat and that ended our day. It was a simple celebration but special time spent with family.
